Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P), the Expanded Learning Opportunity Program Coordinator encourages student engagement in the after-school program and provides ongoing educational programs to students enrolled in the Vacaville Unified School District. They will have specific responsibilities related to the enrollment, operating and supervising of a variety of databases and services and evaluating the district’s expanded learning programs.
Requirements/Qualifications
Experience:
Experience in classroom teaching.
Specific experience working with EL students.
Experience working in diverse classrooms is preferred.
Experience assessing student skills and knowledge.
Experience using assessment results to guide instruction.
Experience and personal characteristics that predict success in working with professionals who have various levels of responsibility.
Experience and personal characteristics that predict success in acting as a resource.
Recent relevant experience/training.
Knowledge of state standards and frameworks Experience coaching classroom teachers preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree (Master's degree or work experience equivalent preferred)
