Job Summary
Under the immediate direction of the school principal, is responsible for the academic, social, and psychological growth of students in the classroom. Collaborates with school personnel, parents, and community agencies to provide quality instructional programs and to perform other duties directly related to this position description.

- Valid California 30-day Substitute Teaching Permit OR California Multiple Subject/Single Subject Teaching Credential
If you do not posses a 30-day Substitute Permit, VUSD can assist you in obtaining one
- Copy of Transcript from an accredited college or university (Bachelor's Degree or higher)
- Criminal Background Clearance
- Tuberculosis Clearance
- Mandated Reporter Training (within the first 6 weeks of employment)
Salary Info
$240 for a full day teaching if you possess a Substitute Permit
$260 for a full day teaching if you possess a Credential
