Job Summary
Works under the direct supervision of Vacaville Unified School District Behavior Analysts in the supervision and instruction of special education students in a variety of settings, including the community and classroom; to assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of behavior intervention programs for identified special education students as well as implement classroom behavior systems in regionalized special education programs; attend student progress meetings; assist students with and demonstrate proper physical care and hygiene; other duties as assigned.
Experience and Education
- Bachelors degree and Registered Behavior Technician Certification, or willing to obtain and maintained registration as Behavior Technician within the first six (6) months of hire
- OR
- Associates degree or 60 semester hours and RBT Certification and 5 years of behavior experience in the school setting
- Must successfully complete Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training within three months of hire and maintain annual recertification
- Possess and maintain current certification of CPR/First Aid
Hours
6.5 hours, 5 days a week. 184 days per year
Salary
$4,308-$4,770 per month
